I’ve been a fan of this show since watching it with my Dad as a kid.
There two great things that happen on the show. One of my favourites is when people bring in items that they think are worth a pile and then find out it’s a knock off or worth next to nothing.
But even better, the stories of how people found something that caught their eye at a garage sale, bought it for $20 and it end up being worth thousands.
It’s also neat hearing some stories from people of how items had been passed down over generations.
In February, Sloan’s Jay Ferguson went to a tapping of the show. He brought along a signed copy of The Who’s 1969 “My Generation.” Check out the segment that didn’t make it on to an episode but has shown up on YoutTube.
